Well, that's certainly a nice shot, but again, having all that other stuff in it (icons, toolbar etc) takes away from what would otherwise be a great image...

Guess I'll just use the magic eraser & crop tools to get rid of that stuff & be done with it

So you are just after wallpapers not actual desktop screenshots but this is a desktop screenshots thread tho..

yep... but I've seen alot of screenshots from other forums that I use as rotating sets of wallpapers, and that's what I was getting at in that regard, but the excessive OS version/hdwr discussions still bugs me though....

Well back to Manjaro. Kubuntu just doesn't do it for me anymore. And now stable version is up to Plasma 6. Fortunately the update left X11 as the video provider
instead of Wayland, which I have serious issues with still.

Well I'm liking Manjaro more and more. New version of stable is now at kernel 6.9 and plasma 6.04. New iso installs like that. They smartly decided to set default display manager
back to X11 for now. Nvidia and wayland do not play nice together for a lot. I switched this one to testing, but no new updates as a result for now:
