Seeking Compatible VBIOS for RX 580 8GB

Hello everyone, some time ago I purchased an RX 580 8GB 2 display port 1 HDMI from a local seller to build a Hackintosh on my PC. After many attempts, I either faced graphics acceleration issues or encountered errors during startup. It slipped my attention that the graphics card might be counterfeit, so I disassembled it and discovered that its GPU is 215-0876406, and its memory modules are K4G80325FC-HC25. Could someone assist me in finding a VBIOS that works for the Hackintosh?

Can you make a picture of the PCB? I think you need to use a RX570 bios instead since RX 580 2048SP isn't supported by Mackintosh ;)

Certainly, I believe that the RX570 VBIOS would work; from my research, many people do this. Could you assist me in finding a compatible one? Attached are the photos of it.

Can you try the following bioses?

Right away haha, the first VBIOS worked perfectly, all ports are active! Now I'm going back to Hackintosh because when it turns on, the cooler is okay, and then it deactivates and activates only at 55 degrees. I would like to keep them active.
XFX and Sapphire have zero dB cooling which means if the temperature is below a certain temperature, it will stop the fan.

To keep the fan running, you need to modify the bios but then it will not work properly in Windows anymore without running AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher.

Another workaround could be to use a fan cable adapter so you can connect the graphics card fans directly to the motherboard?

I attempted to modify the VBIOS and ended up bricking the graphics card. Is there a way to recover it without a programmer? My motherboard lacks a second slot, and I couldn't find options in the BIOS to initiate with the integrated graphics.

I appreciate your assistance up to this point.

Your card have a BIOS switch?
If yes, start the computer with the switch that works.
After the windows is fully loaded you switch to 2nd position and flash that BIOS.
If you don't have BIOS switch , you need to go to a friend with IGfx (internal card) or who have 2 slots on mainboard.
If you have internal GFX, then 1st you take off XFX from system and start it only with internal card.
After windows is fully loaded, you shut down, put XFX in slot and restart computer without altering anything else

Are you running Windows PE? Did you try a different/newer version of amdvbflash?

Yes, I tried on Windows 10 as well, but it’s still not recognized. Should it appear in the Device Manager? Is there any jumper to put it in recovery mode?

I think you need to buy a CH341a programmer with a SOP8 Clip for recovery.
Please be aware that you need to buy version 1.7 or newer of the CH341a programmer and dont forget to set the jumper for the voltage correctly.

Hello friends, I attempted to flash the same .rom that worked with the RX580 via CH341A, but it didn't restore the video. I created a backup .rom beforehand using ATIFlash. Is there any other way to fix this?

Did you validate the content of the vbios chip after programming?

Yeah, I removed the BIOS, inserted it into the EZP2020, and flashed the VBIOS that worked on macOS. I validated the BIOS, and it was successfully programmed and verified, showing no issues at 100%. After resoldering it, the problem persists. Could it be an incompatibility with the programmer? Can this BIOS be programmed by the device? Should it be 256KB, or should it be 512KB?
Thank you.

I dont have any experience with EZP2020 programmer. If the bios chip is properly detected, the programming should go fine.
Did you resolder the bios chip correctly? Is the orientation correct?

I apologize, everyone. It seems my programmer was likely experiencing some issues. I purchased a CH341, and it worked perfectly on the first attempt. Thank you very much for your assistance. The RX570 is alive again.

Please make a new thread instead of hijacking a thread. To locate the correct bios, we need a picture of the whole PCB.
