Do you need higher refresh rates?

Can you post or add your hardware specs?

That patch is to allow higher refresh rates of monitors AFAIK and won't help with your issue.

It sounds like you need to shut down, take out the GPU entirely, plug it back in and see if that helps.

Where did you plug your monitor into?

If you don't need the onboard video out of the R7 7800X3D then go into your mobo's BIOS and turn it off
try another HDMI/Displayport cable most issues can be solve by not using cheapo cables (under $10 cable are usually rubbish don't use them)
make sure your using either HDMI 1 or Displayport out on the 7900XTX into your monitor (whichever your monitor supports)

who is the manufacturer of your PSU and it's model/number name would be helpful just saying it's a 1000W psu doesn't tell use much some chepo 1000W PSU's are not what they purport themselves to be ie: they don't have enough current on the 12V rail but have ridiculous amounts on the 3.3V and 5V rails instead

failing the above not working for you then RMA the GPU it's faulty

PSU looks good as do the cables so looks like it's down to the VBios just being wrong you could try flashing it with the appropriate one for your GPU but if your not comfortable doing that then RMA it

That program is not what you think it's for your better off to flash the correct VBios for your GPU then if you can't RMA it it's not hard there is a good guide for how to do it here on TPU' forums

https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/...nd-line-cmd-syntax-mini-guide-windows.291671/
Then i will have to flash it buy before that I already checked GPUz and my vbios id is the latest version that i found in TPU so if i flash it with the same vbioa is that a bad thing ? If you can help me i will appreciate it

Let's not start flashing Bioss and bricking cards.

How about we deal with the primary issue, it isn't correctly seen by the OS, which is indicative of a poor connection. Flashing a BIOS when everything is working is a gamble, if you attempt it when there is a bad connection you are asking for problems.

Download GPUz and take a screenshot when it is working correctly and see if you can make it fail and take and post a screenshot of that too.

Depends on the model. If it has multiple bios OP can try the flash without that worry.

I am very well aware of those options, but go with me on this.

OP flashes his card and due to a communication issue it fails, then he switches to the other BIOS.

Now his problem isn't fixed, and he has another issue to deal with and the only fallback option is being used.

I can cite the thousands of threads with GPU BIOS flashing issues where other issues were the root cause. But let's first do no harm, get a complete diagnosis before we throw shit at the wall to see.what sticks.

Alternatively, this isn't one of those times, and the flash fixes the issues.

But if you are going to stick around an guide them through this potentially lengthy troubleshoot pro bono good on you. I will leave you to it.

My first recommendation is to RMA it and get a new one.

Just to be sure of your symptoms.

Randomly on cold boot windows fails to load the driver that was installed with a device manager error of 43?

Or after going to sleep/hybernation/low power etc... you randomly get error 43?

EDIT**

For shits and giggles.

Follow this and first see if TDR values are listed in your registry and post what values they are.

Then adjust the values to 60 seconds for both as indicated.

See what happens, also in your Mothorboard BIOS what is PCIe APSM set to?

Lastly what is PCI Express settings in Windows Power settings set to?
