Unless TT will launch a Toughpower SFX 1000W Platinum with CE-LINK as its OEM, because for now they have at most a Gold SFX 1000W unit.

I've seen years old server 900-1200W server PSUs in roughly equal volume.
I'd imagine w/ GaN taking off, etc. that it's very 'do-able' now.

Still, gonna need to see some reviews. -Just because it seems plausible, doesn't mean it's well executed.

Cooler Master has a 1300W SFX (more like 1100W on 120V) out for a while, and it's fine. Don't really see an issue for a high end SFX to achieve.

The Cooler Master SFX PSUs cheat by having the modular cable connectors stick out of the case. Probably fine in most cases, but could get you into trouble in really tight ITX builds.

Cooler Master has a 1300W SFX (more like 1100W on 120V) out for a while, and it's fine. Don't really see an issue for a high end SFX to achieve.

My skepticism is really more about who they are and what the quality of their product is.
The size and the claims they're making do add to that significantly though (also no mention of a warranty).

Given how big GPUs have gotten smallest/tight ITX builds will be restricted to non flagship class GPUs and users can get away with sub 1kW class PSUs in which case there are tonne of great options.

I think at load, this PSU is going to be loud with that small fan cooling it. My other concern is more about how well will this PSU manage with all these increasingly power hungry hardware. You can slap a 1000W rating on it does not mean it will handle the load stably.

Given how big GPUs have gotten smallest/tight ITX builds will be restricted to non flagship class GPUs and users can get away with sub 1kW class PSUs in which case there are tonne of great options.

The FE and the few compact options keep those builds alive. But many people get away with the SF750 plat. High wattage SFX have a fair amount of miss, with them being noisy, SFX-L in size, or just much more expensive when they only offer 100w additional watts compared to the SF750.
