I've said many times and still firmly believe this: the market for gaming is now so huge, it can diversify fine and all participants can eat cake at the end.
What really matters in gaming these days is that you know for yourself what kind of games you want, and are capable of filtering them out...
They can stick their EULAs where the sun doesn't shine, for all I care. Its a whole bunch of nothing.
Laws matter. Everything else is bullshit in the end.
Read the PCgamer piece and its a whole lot of conjecture about nothing. Yes, console sales are down, no shit, people have them now, its called market saturation.
In terms of RX7000 there is nothing new here compared to a half year or a year ago. The situation has been what it is since Ada...
They have no love period, they all keep failing on GPUs and other products left and right. Its an exception if there is a full generation of GPU without any having issues.
I have yet to see Asrock fail like that, so far they're still on my whitelist. The other three I approach with extreme...
Can't say I agree, BG3 for a rendition of D&D in a game is pretty great to me. Its still the same thing as DOS1 and 2 really in terms of pacing and world building though, lots of similarities. Its unmistakably a Larian RPG before a D&D game to me, and the ruleset seems to be pretty comfortable...

Its an illusion that any system is perfect. Democracy isn't perfect. It requires work. Continuously. Freedom takes effort. If you don't like your democracy, look in the mirror. We have ourselves and only ourselves to blame...
Well sure, but a factor 10 over any normal display still seems high no? 1000 nits isn't even remotely pleasant to be looking at either. It often even sticks out like a sore thumb, such as subtitling on an OLED TV ;)
Definitely not great for your eyes. I really don't get the push for brighter...
