AMD Hits Highest-Ever x86 CPU Market Share in Q1 2024 Across Desktop and Server

If all that has been said about the Zen 5 turns out to be true, Intel will have a very hard time. Arrow lake will have to be a huge leap for Intel in performance and power efficiency. I have my doubts for both to be good so my bet is Arrow lake will be performance oriented for the cost of power...

AMD Hits Highest-Ever x86 CPU Market Share in Q1 2024 Across Desktop and Server

AMD is gaining ground in market share but in order for the share to favor AMD CPU's, the next CPU must show its value and performance. You don't beat intel in a year or two and get 50% share. it will take time for AMD to get close to Intel and I can bet it is not happening this year. Not the...

NVIDIA Testing GeForce RTX 50 Series "Blackwell" GPU Designs Ranging from 250 W to 600 W

300W max is reasonable to me. 350W if I close one eye.

Intel Statement on Stability Issues: "Motherboard Makers to Blame"

It is a hypothetical person pushing the processor to the limit. In this context is Intel. I would not say that especially if you consider that the 14th gen is almost identical with 13th gen and there is no upgrade path for Intel boards.

Intel Statement on Stability Issues: "Motherboard Makers to Blame"

I'm not sure about the misleading. From what I understood, about the media presenting Intel CPUs (not all media) they have mentioned these issues just to stay competitive. Intel knows how much they can push the cpus and apparently they have miscalculated. I knew it is not a good thing to get...

Intel Statement on Stability Issues: "Motherboard Makers to Blame"

No shock here with the news. The more you push the CPU's to the limit the more possibility these will fail at some point and the CPUs fail number will grow same way degradation will and failed CPUs from the factory will not adhere to the requirements. Not sure how intel would want to milk that...

Intel Arc "Battlemage" Xe2-HPG BMG-10 & BMG-21 GPUs Discovered in Shipping Manifest

The last time I checked, 7800xt was $100 less than 4070. Do you think AMD has had nothing to do with the 4070 price drop? Yes RT which is barely OK on a 4070 anyway in variety of games though. RT is cool but it isn't the top-notch gameplay you can get. It is in most cases 1080p and that is it.

Horizon Forbidden West: DLSS vs. FSR vs. XeSS Comparison

I see shimmering in every upscaling tech presented here. Specifically with the grass. In the first shared screen scene.

Galax GeForce RTX 4070 Super EX

I think you are splitting hair here. 4070 Super's price is not that great if you ask me.

14900 KS - the fastest Intel processor ever just launched

So you decided to bring it up in a forum as an argument? nice  Why would Intel use a new node for a refresh? No sense at all.

AMD Posts "Super Early" Work Graphs Render Time Numbers, Posts 39% Render Time Improvements

I think you should check what propaganda means guys. This is more about changing the pipeline and exclude CPU taking part of it due to slowing things down. Not to mention, NV is going for the same approach, it would benefit NV even more than AMD considering the driver overhead that involves CPUs.

14900 KS - the fastest Intel processor ever just launched

I must say, your examples to show some of your insight and excuse something or someone are very disturbing. If you put a middle aged old man in a race car, I'm sure he'll do way better with his experience than a young wimp with abnormal attitude. Decision making has a reason and consequences, so...

14900 KS - the fastest Intel processor ever just launched

This seems biased to me since you compare advantages of one product to disadvantages of the other to prove a point or excuse something being not as good as it should. Middle aged man? I think it is inaccurate unless this middle aged man is AMD since this one is older than newly release Intel...

14900 KS - the fastest Intel processor ever just launched

I see in some games in the video, Intel uses 2.5 times more power than AMD. That is crazy considering how close in gaming performance these two are.

14900 KS - the fastest Intel processor ever just launched

I really hope Intel will show something better with the new gen CPUs. The 14th gen and KS model is like the same old stuff over and over. Rehash of a rehash. due to power draw or do you have something else in mind?
