I don’t have stutters with whatever junk OEM SSD is in my asus ally or the PM961’s in my big rig.

Starfield doesn't look particularly good on any hardware. It is like they took fallout 4, made it impossible to run and asked everyone to just deal with it. How they didn't add an mGPU support that is native to DX12 honestly astonishes me, and that's past all the other shenanigans. Oh well at...

Im going to have to agree with the gang, do you have a killawatt? Maybe watch when it’s kicking off. Mine where just crash to desktop. I think maybe my 1080ti’s are getting some wear over time 350 over on the ram stopped being stable. I have no stuttering on my threadripper and CPU usage is...

On your crash issue is it just to desktop? I finally had a couple on my main rig and they all ended up being gpu memory clock based

The resolution doesn’t seem to matter like I thought it would. Using it at 1080p to stream onto my ally was still stuck at medium with almost the same frame rates. I do need to look into tweaking the ram some to see if that helps free up some limitations. I honestly think it was only running at...

    Starfield discussion thread

Well I think I finally found the limits of my 1080ti's probably a combo of that and an older high core count CPU. 2990WX just running stock boost, 64GB quad channel and it can't keep the GPU pushed up to TDP limits running the game. 4k@50%FSR runs 30-60FPS all medium settings minus the ones I...

You could just buy another overpriced laptop and hope technology doesn't keep advancing. I don't know that it'll work though.

ASRock's X670 Motherboards Have Numerous Issues... With DRAM Stickers

Pretty normal for AMD products let alone asrock on top of that. Half finished and terrible stickers.

ASUS Revises RX 5700-series TUF Gaming with Axial Tech Fans and New Heatsink Underneath

The fact that AMD doesn't sell a top tier card is a larger frustrations than I can express in words. The lack of competition has pushed nvidia prices for mediocre products to the moon. So, yea as a consumer I consider the 5700 to be a complete pile of trash.

ASUS Revises RX 5700-series TUF Gaming with Axial Tech Fans and New Heatsink Underneath

Performance is eclipsed by a mild OC on a 1080Ti from 2 years ago. This is not impressive to me. I wait impatiently for the higher tier cards since the 2080(ti) didn't impress me either they were only minor improvements over the 1080Ti.
